Hingham 3, St. John’s Prep 2 — Hingham boys' hockey coach Tony Messina didn't have to wait long to see how his team responded after a frustrating season-opening loss. Senior captain Paul Dzavik scored just 27 seconds into the eighth-ranked Harbormen's second game, setting the tone for an inspired 3-2 victory over No. 3 St. John's Prep at the Essex Sports Center on Saturday afternoon.
